On March 3, 2017, the newest member of the Stahl Gasiorowski Criminal Defense team, Andrew Olesnycky, was recommended by the Board on Attorney Certification to the Supreme Court for certification as a Criminal Trial Attorney, a designation attained by less than one percent of attorneys practicing law in New Jersey. Andrew joined Stahl Gasiorowski Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2015 after serving for five years as an assistant prosecutor and acting deputy attorney general in the Union County Prosecutor’s Office.

To attain the designation of a “Certified Attorney” by the Supreme Court’s Board on Attorney Certification, an applicant must demonstrate “sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge and skill in a specific area of law or practice; have passed a rigorous examination; and have been recognized by their peers as having sufficient skills and reputation in the designated specialty.” Criminal Trial Certification is granted only to those attorneys who have tried a substantial number of criminal cases before juries.

The designation reflects Andrew’s ongoing dedication to the practice of criminal law, his wealth of experience litigating criminal cases, his knowledge of the issues facing his clients, and his high esteem within the legal community.

We congratulate Andrew on obtaining this laudable professional distinction.
